The Alamo is in the south, if Texas is. That was a better than expected little web article. I'm still chuckling that there was a diplomat called Princess Labia. That is a name worthy of "Spaceballs."

Trivia- the Cinerama dome is distinctly unimpressive in the auditorium. I suspect it was designed to minimize distractions from the screen presentations. Oh yeah, I turned down an offer to manage one of those 50 venues.

I find it outrageous that the Fox Theater in Detroit was not included in this list!

It is both listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark.
