A Civil War veteran agrees to deliver a girl, taken by the Kiowa people years ago, to her aunt and uncle, against her will. They travel hundreds of miles and face grave dangers as they search for a place that either can call home.
We just started watching it and I'm just laughing at how blindingly white some of the actors' teeth are. It's distracting. Couldn't they have made them look a little more believable for the time?
Okay, we watched it and enjoyed it. I found out it was directed by Paul Greengrass, who also directed another Tom Hanks movie, "Captain Phillips." I wasn't surprised when I found that out, given his performance. I don't know what it is, but just when you think Tom can't get any better, he does. And it's one of those movies where I keep thinking about the scenes and characters long after I've watched it.
I'd have to think it over, but probably it's the best movie I've seen during the COVID lockdown... which doesn't say a lot, but yea it was entertaining and a quality movie.
