Ethan Hawke, Kristin Scott Thomas. Verrry slow, not to mention somewhat confusing, but I kept wanting to see what happened. One of those where you (or I, at least) look up explanations afterward.
Rather pretty good. Keep my interest through out. It's rather disgusting at parts and granted, now that I am all broken up, rather identified with the flick, but as things go, pretty good. Who couldn't love "Rashid"? A 7.6.
Life is uncertain; have your dessert first! So starts this flick with the toplessness right off the bat. Let's hear it for mini skirts and go-go boots!
As an old foreign detective flick, it's not too bad. Good for a look. Say a 5.0.
Green Inferno on Netflix. A plane carrying a group of young people protesting the destruction of the Amazon rainforest crashes into the jungle. They are carried off by a group of cannibals to supplement their food supply. Grisly. Chop chop and they become dinner. Possible nightmare tonight.
I had forgotten how much fun "Black Belt Theatre" (what a Charleston station showed on Sunday in the 80s) could be! Otherwise, the best thing is just to watch and enjoy the scenes and expect nothing from it. I mean, I guess when they said "The End" the movie was over, that all the bad guys had been killed. Say a 2.0.
A 60's epic with wonderful photography and heavy characters. It's not boring, one is kept interested for its 2 hours but....it does trod along, only getting to the action in the end. If you can get into a cast of thousands being wasted......by point blank fire power, it's a nice, though not necessarily fun, movie. Say a 6.3.
