That is a personal preference. I have HBO MAX right now and never find anything on it besides movies that are released there the same day as in theaters, which is very cool!

My Aunt keeps it for Bill Mahr. I share her account. I wouldn't pay for HBO MAX. I had just gotten it for one month to watch a season of a series and all the movies they had that I wanted to see but hadn't, so that is why I never find anything there for now.

I keep meaning to try AGAIN to get into The Wire.

They have every HBO series ever made available.

They have a good selection of movies.

For whatever reason for a while now, Showtime is my jam.

Currently $5/month via Hulu.

I used to have ALOT to watch on there.

Homeland, Shameless, Ray Donovan, Billions, and one other I am forgetting.

When I had cable my DVR would get packed with the regular broadcast shows and my Showtime shows.

They are available on Netflix and/or Hulu now. Only Shameless remains, in it's last season, and for me was well worth $5/month to watch now.

Starz had 6 months for $20, so I had it for that long and found plenty to watch when I first got it, and then when I was about to lose it, I made a concentrated effort to find what was worth watching to me.

It takes a while for them to acquire enough new material to make it worth subscribing to.

One good series on Starz is historical fiction about Maximillian and how he came to power
Interesting and fairly accurate history I believe

Thanks a lot guys, good to know! I guess I'm glad I signed up for the 6-month HBO Max rather than Starz then!
