Last movie I saw was Gretel & Hansel (2020) on February 7th, 2020. I've been checking the listings and there was a drive-in that had showings (no theater listings). Checked again and nothing listed.
One of my local Marcus theaters has opened up with limited seating and mask wearing requirements; another has converted the side of its building and parking lot into a drive-in theater. Right now those are the only two theaters in my area that I know of that are operating. AMC, Regal, Alamo Drafthouse, and the local art house theater Filmstreams are all still closed.
I live in a metro area with over 2 million, and for a while only the single Drive In has been open, and it's an hour's drive out into the countryside.
Interestingly enough, it's been struggling for years, but just announced they are opening two more locations very soon.
They made specific changes that really work well, all of which maintains social distancing just fine.
Internet or phone ordering of tickets and concessions.
The concessions are delivered to your car by protected staff.
You can be inside or sit outside, near your car.
The only social distancing by the customers is if you go to the restrooms, and those have queue-distance markings.

The Marcus theater down the street from me has the perfect set up to convert into a temporary drive in theater. I wish they would try that out here.

No, the idea of sitting in a dark room for 2-3 hours with strangers doesn't appeal to me right now either.
There's a theater open nearby. They're requiring that everyone wears masks, but since they're still selling popcorn and other refreshments it's an easy excuse for people not to wear a mask. Plus, once the lights go down, you can't really see what others are doing. I doubt they're going through the theater with a flashlight to check on patrons.
