Watched this last night. It's not classic by any means, but all in all a fun horror flick. Some REALLY gorgeous scenery. Reminded me of TREMORS, only instead of killer desert worms, it was killer alien spider-squid. Definitely a fun 90 minutes.

It's simple really.
Don't go near the water.
Don't go near the desert.
Don't go in the basement.
Don't answer the phone.
Don't go in to the woods.
Just...
DON'T!

I saw it. It was in the stupid but fun category. Good for a laugh.

I thought the first Tremors was actually kind of smarter than the average, but all downhill from there.

Agree 100%. A bunch of dumb desert hicks with a sly foundation of intelligence. Which turned to just dumb monster-chasing for... four? sequels.

It's up to 5 sequels with the recent addition of Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell (2018) and then you have the whole television series spin-off...

This thread is slowly veering off topic. So I too will help with going off topic a tad bit more.
The worm like monsters in the first Tremors were call Graboids. Grabbers -- Graboids. YES! there is a connection. Elvis living on the planet Neptune fathered the Grabbers. The Grabbers in turn had Graboids as their children. Makes sense to me.
Gawd, I gotta git me outta this here apartment.,
