Interesting, but it just goes to show the difference between quality and quantity. Spider-Man 3 is in the Top 5 of quantity, but it shouldn't even be in the Top 20 of quality. Similar conclusions throughout the rest of the list.

Yeah, a lot of box office overall has to do with timing/build up. Quality can have an effect, but its rarely the sole reason why a movie is a box office blockbuster.

I am a Marvel kid, but if I had to pick my favs Endgame and Infinity war would be in a dead heat with DARK KNIGHT and DARK NIGHT RISES.

Im a Marvel person too, but The Dark Knight is a masterpiece. I also like Logan (Fox-Marvel) more than Infinity War & Endgame (MCU).

Endgame was a hot mess and an utterly disappointing finale to the Thanos arc.

Their borrowing of the "signatures" gimmick from Star Trek: The Undiscovered County was lame-O!

The Dark Knight > any Marvel movie ever made, be it Disney, Fox or Sony.

I completely disagree with you. Many people would disagree with you that Endgame was a "hot mess." I would say a vast majority of people found it to be a satisfying ending and a satisfying finale to the Thanos arc.
