I saw this movie Thanksgiving week and still haven't quite been able to get "Bonnie & Clyde meets Black Lives Matter" out of my head yet. The movie was quite powerful, but in a relatively understated way, quite unlike your generic outlaws on the run flick. It had a dreamy quality where things happened that were not what you'd think should happen, but of course still realistic in its lead characters search for freedom. It had a fantastic soundtrack, intriguing dialogue, and was very well-acted--though part of me wonders why American actors didn't portray the leads.
Anybody else see it and have any thoughts about it??
