Man...it was truly a “teaser” trailer in every sense of the word, lol. Didn’t reveal much at all which is a good thing, and keeps you wanting more. The second trailer in a few months will certainly be full-force epic.
Sadly yes. Never bothered watching any of the Ant-Man films because I simply don't care for Paul Rudd. And I was able to get through his appearance in Civil War because Peter Parker and T'Challa were very engaging characters. I feel the same way about Brie Larson taking on the Carol Danvers role, and have no intentions of watching Captain Marvel because I just don't care for the actress.

Maybe they picked an actress that no one really cares for to play Carol Danvers on purpose because they don't want too many people upset when they finally have Rogue kill her.

Well, Robert Downey was on the skids. None of the others were better than B actors either.
Renner turned in a great performance in Kathryn Bigelow's excellent film The Hurt Locker. The dude has chops — that are mostly wasted in the MCU.
Renner can be a good actor, but he was still a B-level draw when he did Avengers.
