I email Regal (corporate) and Century / Cinemark (corporate) all the time asking if / when a certain movie I'm interested in will start here.

Regal answered me a couple times, but stopped responding. Cinemark (Century) answers all the time. A few times they said they won't show it (Jane (2017), After the Storm (2016), Lucky (2017)). Regal is doing the limited release of Jane and I saw that the other day. Streamed After the Storm on amazon. Haven't seen Lucky yet.

Cinemark did reply to The Florida Project, and I will see it tonight:

Good afternoon Mr. xxxxxxx,

I am happy to confirm that The Florida Project is slated to play at the Century Suncoast 16 theatre beginning next weekend. I hope you enjoy the show!

Thank you and have a great weekend!

Right now I'm waiting and keeping an eye out for this one that starts in a couple weeks, November 22:

Darkest Hour

Couple of trailers last night before The Florida Project reminded me of a couple more films that I'm going to see:

Paul Thomas Anderson's latest: The Phantom Thread (2017), with what may be Danial Day Lewis' last film.

Richard Linklater's Last Flag Flying (2017). The book was Darryl Ponicsan's sequel to his The Last Detail (Jack Nicholson film).

The man who invented Christmas.

As a fan of A Christmas Carol as well as having read a lot of other Dickens--Oliver Twist, A tale of Two Cities, and Great Expectations--I can't wait.

I have a hard enough time keeping up with current movies, without worrying about future ones.

Do you ever use the email to urge them to show more obscure movies?

All the time. Though the ones I want to see are all obscure to most people it seems to me.
