Sneaking food into theaters (film, action, watching, matinee)

I used to years ago but these days I just buy the popcorn and soda from the concession stand. I don't know how strict theaters are about these things.
LOL. I do it ALL THE TIME, mainly for soft drinks. I buy their popcorn though. If I bring my sister's kids with me, I buy the candy beforehand and sneak it in. No movie theater employee has ever given me a hard time about it.
Going to the movies is s a very rare thing for me. And more often than not I will not buy from the concession stand... Won't sneak anything in, either.
Talking to movie theater owners, the concession stand is where they make their profits. They don't really see much profit from ticket sales... Which is why the snack and drink prices are so expensive.
When we go to a movie ,which is rare, I must take our own treats due to our diabetes. I've had some theater manager complain that we are robbing them of profits but quiet right down when I ask them to present us with diabetic food treats (no junk food).
If you want to support the theatre so it continues to operate, buy SOMETHING from the concession. Popcorn or soft drink provide the most profit. Soft pretzels can be decent.
If you want to get yourself banned from a theatre, bring in your fast food burger or chicken, or pistachio or other nuts in shell and leave the shells strewn around. Alcoholic beverages can also get you tossed out, as can the sound of a glass bottle rolling from your seat.
There used to be some particularly noisy sun-chip bags that people would bring in. Other customers would come out and complain until we took them away or tossed those customers.
Always remember that a movie theatre is a PRIVATE business. It can set whatever rules it wants as long as it does not discriminate based on race or religion. If you want to sneak in your Junior Mints and you don't leave a mess and toss the empty box in the trash, 99% of places don't care. If you walk in with food like you own the place, you'll walk straight back out.
"diabetic food treats (no junk food)." Oh, BS. I've had that pulled on me. I've had diabetic staff members, as well as those with celiac and other diseases. You are trying to intimidate to game the system. One couple in south Florida tried that and then tried to sue. They lost. If you are so sick you can't make it through a movie without special food, you need to be home in bed with special nurses tending to your poor sensitive tummy.
