Have paramedics on standby for viewings. I got a creepy feeling viewing this. It was scary the first time. Remakes often fall flat or in rare cases improve on the original. This might be the latter. Couple that with the fact we had a "creepy clown scare" just last year in the real world. Maybe it was a clever marketing gimmick come to think of it.
The trailer looks cool. This is coming from the director of "Mama" 2013 so that is why I'm a bit reserved about this one... Mama was mediocre.
I really hope that it will live to its expectations.
I am rather keen on watching the DARK Tower.
I think I may be the one Stephen King fan on Earth who didn't like IT very much. But this movie definitely looks good. Maybe better than the book, which suffered from the bloats and un-scaries.

I didn't find the book to be scary either. I did find it to be well-written and a good story overall. I just hated that one part toward the end....with the sex scene. I really didn't understand it.

King wrote the book during the years of his substance abuse, and I think it shows in the book. Long sections that an editor should have nixed, and several scenes that were obviously meant to be scary but were just goofy. A murderous Paul Bunyan statue and Rodan? C'mon.
Will definitely be anxious to see this. I like the trailer, very creepy! I'm mostly into movies that focus more on psychological fear, creepy sounds and atmosphere then gory effects. This looks very promising!
