Silver Linings Playbook...depression, bipolar disorder, family dysfunction, gambling, OCD, divorce, hospitalization, widowhood, unemployment, losing pension. It casts good looking people though. But it has the realistic redemption.

"A Christmas Story" is my personal favorite. One station in these parts plays it 24/7 leading up to Christmas. I also have the DVD because I really get a kick out of the movie. I laugh out loud every time I watch it and it's so odd because I really don't care for comedies. I don't care much for morose Christmas movies, either.

What's the one with Kristin Davis where she dies and her husband gets to relive the last day he had with her over and over?

"The Gathering" with Ed Asner and Maureen Stapleton. It was a made-for-TV movie and no one ever mentions it, but I absolutely LOVED it.
