What about Clint Eastwood? I can't think of anything that he died in.

Shirley Temple, probably!

(Okay, that's sort of a cop-out, I know.)

Goldie Hawn DOES die in "Death Becomes Her", as does Meryl Streep. Remember that Meryl's character uses a shotgun (I believe it is) to blast a huge hole in Goldie's abdomen. But, they both have partaken of that elixir, so not even death stops them. They're reanimated but become high maintenance to cover their falling-apart bodies. Thus the title: "Death Becomes Her" (which actually is what Hamlet says of the drowned Ophelia).

Clint Eastwood dies in "The Beguiled", in which he is a charming but villainous fellow.

Sylvester Stallone's character in "F.I.S.T." is murdered. By the way: Johnny Kovak is based on labor leader Jimmy Hoffa, who disappeared and is assumed dead.

Cary Grant as Cole Porter died in "Night and Day".

Dolly Parton's character dies and becomes an angel in "Unlikely Angel".

THEY LIVE!
Mae West
William Schallert(?)
June Lockhart
Buster Keaton
Janet Gaynor
W.C. Fields
Jim Backus
Amy Adams(?)
