What are your favorite train movies. That is movies where trains are prominently in the movie and are part of the plot.

Mine:

Unstoppable
Runaway Train
Polar Express

Murder On The Orient Express - one of the best introductory title sequences ever shot.
Titfield Thunderbolt - classic Brit fun.
The Train - decent war movie
The Taking of Pelham 123 - pretty good
Union Pacific
The General - Buster Keaton fun
The Great Train Robbery - one of THE first films with a plot.
Emperor of the North Pole - great narrow gauge action
Atlas Shrugged pt 2 - kinda interesting
North by Northwest
Silver Streak
Phantom Express

There really is a lot of material left that could make good train movies. If television hadn't oversaturated the market with "Casey Jones" and "Pettycoat Junction" and the like, there could have been more.

THROW MOMMA FROM THE TRAIN.

I thought POLAR EXPRESS was creepy. The Uncanny Valley is real.
