Post a quote or very brief plot. Others try to name the movie.

Paraphrasing is ok (except for Caddyshack - I've heard too many of those quotes get butchered).

You are on your honor system to not rely on wikipedia or the rest of the web.

To start:

"You just shot an unarmed man."

"Well he should have armed himself."

Just saw this one on Thanksgiving.
Unforgiven

Next up, from one of my favorites:

"Mom! Dad! It's evil! Don't touch it!"
(Boom)
"Mom? Dad?"

If I'm right, then.............

"Meanwhile, I'll keep you here as my guest. You'll be very useful in convincing the world leaders that I mean what I say and I will do what I claim.".

Nope.

Big Clue.........it's from a movie I once used here on city-data in a post....that went over like a lead balloon.

Okay, since I am going to dinner and am probably done here, usefully anyhow, for the night, I'll give the answer and let it be open season.
