Anyone hear or see of "Boyhood" and the filming over 12 years?
Sort of like the "UP" Brit documentaries of the same kids every 7 years since the 1960's...(they have gone from 7 to I believe 56 now(always in increments of 7)....
I recall the filming of Willie Wonka having probs, as the factory shots were filmed almost a years later when Charlie's voice started changing....
Also, sequels with the same cast have the same issues..
And look how the Bradys' jumped the shark per age, and got awful as the kids aged...The Simpsons being the only non aging deal around evidentally.....
I feel, though I have not seen "Boyhood", that the concept is great..sounds as if they did an great job making this..it easily could have turned out awful.....many side projects were made in the interim years, but the actors always came back for new scenes....
many movies have age related flashbacks, but few, perhaps none, with the original actors aging in place....
This definitely looks quite interesting..must see this..
