Fun thread--but how to choose 3 out of all our soundtracks?

1. The Alamo (1959), the best score Tiomkin ever did
2. Lonesome Dove (yes, TV, but movie quality)
3. Jeremiah Johnson

Later on when you've all forgotten that I already posted 3 I'll post some more!

A****aka and San -from Princess Mononoke (This is actually my favorite song, period, movie score or otherwise!)

Joe Hisaishi Live - A****aka and San (

Once Upon A Time in The West Theme (but I prefer Yo Yo Ma's rendition to the original)

Once Upon A Time in The West - Yo Yo Ma ( Ennio Morricone ) - YouTube

The Sixth Station -from Spirited Away

I second Saturday night Fever and will add GREASE.

Is it just the people that have answered or is it something else that the most recent movie here is 15 years old and many are Westerns?

Actually I posted one from 2001. But still, that's not terribly recent.
