I'm thinking of going to see these in the next week or so. Has anyone seen them, are they as good as the critics say ?
All input gratefully welcome. Thanks.

I'm planning to see A Mighty Heart tonight, so I'll give ya my opinion as soon as I've seen it.
Since Angelina Jolie is in it, it can't be bad in my book.

I am not a particular Angelina Jolie fan but she is supposed to be superb in it and it is supposed to be the role of her career.

I've watched A Mighty Heart and have no complaints.
Qua drama and impact I prefer Hotel Rwanda, since the subjects are similar, but A Mighty Heart was not bad either. It had drama (personal and political) and in the end it showed the true strength of a (pregnant) woman.
The acting was not bad either, altho I still think her role as Lisa Rowe in Girl, Interrupted is more defining for her career. It could be that I'm biased because I prefer the character of Lisa Rowe over Angelina's acting skill.
Anywayz, I highly recommend A Mighty Heart.

I didn't know Clooney had finished a new movie. I hope Michael Clayton will be as good and hard hitting as Good Night, and Good Luck.

I really loved " Good Night and Good luck" one of my favourite movies last year. Quite a relevant subject. Was "Syriana" any good by the way ? I never got to see it but am thinking of f renting it.

Mwah, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. Too much politics and too much talking. Maybe my expectations were too high, because I hoped that it was in the same class as Good Night, and Good Luck or Fail Safe.
Sadly it wasn't.
But it wouldn't be a waste of your money if you just rented it.

I was also disappointed with Syriana, and as Tricky D said, perhaps too many expectations on my part.

I saw Michael Clayton. I thought it was pretty good. Did not like Rendition at all. A mighty Heart I liked it, but it was so sad. I go to the movies for a boost. I try to avoid movies that make me cry and stay with me.

I was very disappointed by Michael Clayton. It was too predictable and way to slow moving for me.
