The Last Drop Trailer - YouTube

I like this film, but almost nobody I know has heard of it. I can't understand why it's not more popular. It's something like a Tarantino film, though less violent and a little more mainstream, though not overly so. It has a good pace to it, though it's not wall to wall action, which I cannot stand. The story is just fine, not overly complex, though the characters are what really makes it for me. If the trailer piqued your interest, see the whole film.

As for popular films I've seen and deplore, Fight Club tops my list. For the life of me i'll never get why so many people adore this film.

I hated The Matrix. And I mean hate in the strongest possible terms.

I've only seen Fight Club once, but I remember my reaction being ... meh.

I love Milius's Conan the Barbarian. It's one of the most under-appreciated movies of the 1980s.

Matrix - great premise, poor execution, crappy actors
Anything by Tarantino - I just don't get his work. It's annoying.
Most of the stuff Brad Pitt is in. For such a famous dude, he picks really boring movies.
American Beauty - wtf?! Actually, I don't think I liked anything Kevin Spacey has done.
Oliver Stone movies - long and blah blah blah blah blah...
Bridges Over Madiszzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....so boring I can't even get the name out without falling asleep.

I hated both The Hangover and Bridesmaids...why are these films referred to as being ground-breakingly hilarious? I found them sophmoric and cliche and not original whatsoever, but certainly not funny.

I am no fan of anything by Steven Spielberg...his work is sooo hokey to me.

I really enjoyed Apollo 18 and I think I'm the only one in the world who did.

Agreed. Hangover was a sad tired version of what American Pie pulled off a decade earlier and with better characters.

I think we did a thread like this before, but I can't say this enough....

I hate, hate, hate The Sound of Music!

There, I said it. I might be the only person on the planet who hates it; I just don't see the attraction. I might be missing a chromosome or something.

uh, no, I hate The Sound of Music too. I'm not into musicals.

Call me what you will but I don't like Lawrence of Arabia or Gone With The Wind or any Stanley Kubrick films [gasp!].

I thought The Magnificent Seven was a dud.

Fight Club did nothing for me, and I watched it twice and like the actors

The Usual Suspects is IMO, the most over-rated movie ever.

Ditto for Memento, Meh.

I gave Titanic and The Help two thumbs down.

But for The Tree of Life, and just about everyone I know hated it.
