Still another in the recent passing away of celebrity and movie stars from an earlier era was the death of Celeste Holm sunday at the age of 95. She was best known for her Oscar winning Best Supporting Actress award in "Gentleman's Agreement" (1947) , and for her Oscar nominated performance in "All About Eve" (1950). www.nytimes.com/2012/07/16/theater/celeste-holm-witty-character-actress-dies-at-95.html
How very weird! Just a few nights ago I watched All About Eve again, and seeing her reminded me of The Snake Pit, so I watched that again. I looked her up that night on my phone "Wapedia" app, and she was still alive. I was reading how she had married a young guy in his 40s. So I guess she died right after that? This was Sunday night. Weird!
