I tried watching this -- I gave it a whole hour hoping it would turn around within that time -- it did not. I don't understand why some people consider this to be a humorous film. It was just plain boring, incredibly predictable, and Steve Carell's character was way underplayed for a comedic film. It wasn't even dumb humor -- it was just plain effortless

Try the French original. But keep in mind that comedies watched at home are unlikely to be as funny as comedies watched with an audience.

The original French version is vastly superior but some of the humour gets lost in translation with the subtitles sadly.

I thought it was hilarious. I cannot remember laughing that much during a movie in a long time.
