One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Except I am the big Indian and definitely not Jack Nicholson's character.

"Neighbors" for me
That's hilarious -- I think -- depending on which character you mean!!))

I deeply identify with the female characters in "Plenty" and "Denial" because they show the dark/shadow side of personality, and that even if I'm a little crazy, it's not COMPLETELY horrible or out of control. I can't watch them too much, though; I tend to take on that edginess when I do.

BOO!

My parents, back when they were dating, saw the Elizabeth Taylor movie "Cynthia". They agreed that, if they got married, that would be the perfect name for their first daughter.

I finally got to see the movie a few years ago. Cynthia is a fragile girl who is always ill. She catches cold easily and develops pneumonia, so her parents have to be very protective.

Mom and I watched it, and we were both surprised because I have been ill since birth. I often went from colds to bronchitis to pneumonia and even double pneumonia. I remained susceptible to all sorts of illnesses and finally ended up disabled. My mother admitted that she didn't recall the girl being sickly, but we both thought it was a strange parallel. Sadly, I never looked like Elizabeth Taylor. However, "Liz" herself had many medical problems and nearly died a couple of times (if not more), particularly from pneumonia.

I have always loved my name, even when, in school, they tried to make me go by "Cindy".
