Not to mention that the center of the earth is actually a fiery core, not a tranquil sea.

The film depicted the explorers finding giant vegetables and fruits growing in the conveniently chemically lighted subterranean.

I've seen this explained once, but I'll stick to the rules and not look it up again: In the scene at the end of Reservoir Dogs when everyone is shooting each other there are somehow too many shots fired, or one of the guys falls even though nobody shot at him.
