Just saw The 9th entry in the series..Looked like a cheap student film. Doug Bradley did not play Pinhead even. Pinhead was a bland character that made ridiculous faces and the makeup looked like it came from the Halloween section at Rite-Aid. The other characters were bland and wooden. All the creativity and story were gone. Out of all the horror franchises, this was the worst insult. They have truly torn the horror fans souls apart worse then Pinheads chains of doom ever could!

Hellraiser: Revelations (Video 2011) - IMDb

A great series that should have been left alone, esp after part 3-the last good film in the series. Anyone else see this trash?

What were they thinking? They were thinking that if they didn't make a new movie, they would lose the rights to to the Hellraiser franchise. I'm serious.

The trailer alone showed me the same exact stuff that you describe the film as being; a cheap imitation with a new Pinhead. No need to see the movie. Such a shame too. A reboot that was more true to the short story could have been really interesting.

Default I have an idea for the REBOOT.

Pinhead and his gang invade the Jersey shore house after the situation drunkenly opens the puzzle box. Snooki then runs off with pinhead to live in a townhouse in the Florida keys.

Winning!

Wow, that would make a good reboot. Better than
the movie anyway.

I gave up on the Hellraiser series after the first 3 films. All the rest were garbage. I'm sorry that Doug Bradley even continued to do these movies.
