The next James Bond film set to be released November 9,2012 (tentatively titled Bond 23) finally has it's villain. Javier Bardem, who won an Oscar for playing the villain Anton Chigurh in "No Country for Old Men" will be the main nemesis for Bond come next year. No word yet on any confirmed Bond girls but I'm personally pulling for Rose Byrne or Abbie Cornish(both Australian)to be good candidates. Between these two,I would give the edge to Byrne.
I cracked up when I read this about Bardem after shivering through his sadistic and evil role in "No Country..."
He credits the group AC/DC for his fluency in English as well as learning how to curse and has stated he loves heavy metal music. Bardem has admitted in interviews he cannot drive, only getting behind the wheel for film roles, and he consistently refers to himself as a "worker" and not an actor. Following the legalization of same-sex marriage in Spain in 2005, Bardem incited controversy when he stated that if he were gay, he would "get married tomorrow, just to f**k with the Church."
I guess I thought he was going to be Bond, but he's the nemisis? So..who's Bond? I had heard that Idris Alba(sp) was in the running - I thought he would be wonderful.

You must be kidding!
After seeing Daniel Craig walk out of the ocean in "Casino Royale," there's only ONE James Bond -- and he's IT!
Sean who? Pierce who?
