I mean the movie should be solely placed on street racing and all because all the movie talks about is a guy that's in law enforcement trying to seize fugitves or be friends to fugitives or criminals(like Vin Diesel and Tyrese), why didn't the fast and the furious series just focus on the core of street racing on what this driver will do by winning and becoming a street racing "champion". I know Tokyo Drift done this but that was like the only FandF movie that had done that in the series. Plus, the acting in the movies is so cliche or subpar if you know what I mean...the only thing that's short of keeping the movies going is the cars..and that's it. And why don't these filmakers stop using CGI instead of real cars but fake ones also just in case if they want to shoot a wreck scene?
They didn't focus on the core of street racing because the film wasn't really about the sport. The racing "world" just happened to be the setting for the story. It was more about redemption for both Brian and Dominic.
I won't speak to the others but that at least applies to the first one.
