I agree - I say I could care less (if I felt like trying which I don't )
Well, you are missing the point of the expression, which is to show that you have reached a point of not being able to "care less" due to the fact that you have already reached the maximum point of "not caring"
Chick1: Hey, did you know Lindsay Lohan was filmed puking on Sunset Strip???
Most all of them. Only two I might go see this Summer is the 4th Pirates movie and The Hangover sequel (although I'll be waiting to see reviews before considering that one).
I'm in the same boat as those that rarely go anymore. Too expensive, not enough interest in what's showing (when Justin Bieber has a movie you know things are bad), annoyed with people who feel they need to show how important they are by texting/talking on their phones during the movie, etc.
I don't want to get into a whole debate with you but by saying "could care less" means I can care less more if I wanted to and by saying I "couldn't care less" I am at the bottom of the caring tree already. Its like saying I could walk another mile versus I couldn't walk another mile.
No...argue....it is OK.
I just want to show you how wrong you are, that is all. When you say "I could NOT care less".......it shows that you are at the extreme point of NOT CARING, you have spent all of the NOT CARING effort in your body.
The incorrect statement is showing that you are at a MILD level of not caring, you really do not "NOT CARE" that much.....this incorrect statement........can be taken in another way......you are kinda interested in the subject at hand.
Of the ones I have seen previews for , "Thor" and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" look absolutely ghastly as well as "Sucker Punch", and "Transformers".
