I don't know which one it was, but it was the one where Rocky fought the Russian. My least favorite was the last one number 6. The ending sucked.

Why ? He stood the distance with Mason and almost beat a champ 30 yrs. younger then him. Did you know that all the punches thrown in Rocky Balboa were real hits. Sly wanted this movie as realist as possible. I thought he did a great job for the last one.

The first with Apollo because it was only a charity match or something like that and wasnt supposed to last as long as he did.

For me, it's a tie between the first two films. Such great movies. Rocky III was lots of fun, but Rocky was much more interesting as the Philly schlub rather than the rich socialite. Rocky IV was awful. Almost unwatchable. I never saw Rocky V. I liked Rocky Balboa a lot. Total redemption of the series. That being said, I thought the ending needed more. Too many threads left dangling.

I wanted him to win. He didn't, so it basically ruined the whole movie.

I do admit however I liked how he walked out of the ring and started heading back to the dressing room before the winner was even announced.

Probably the fight with Drago in IV.... I mean c'mon.... U.S. vs. Russia in the height of the Cold War. Natural Strength vs. Synthetic Roids. So many underlying themes man!!!!

The fight in IV was compelling, but god what a bad movie and stupid speech at the end. I can't say I blamed the Russians for being a bit peeved at us for that flick more so than "Red Dawn": completely over the top w/ the silly sterotypes. The only thing that makes IV seem halfway credible is because of Rocky V, possibly the worst movie ever made. I do my best to pretend it never existed. What in god's name were the producers and directors thinking when they allowed that absurdly awful story line w/ the even worse acting to get released for production?

I agree......... I dont like senseless fighting.

That being said I really only saw the FIRST film and that was enough for me! (It was a good match though)
