The Olucus Futuristic Yacht-yacht34.jpg

Who Said a Yacht has to Look Like a boat? - Design Magazine - Baekdal.com

Quote:
The Olucus is a very futuristic looking yacht from Schöpfer Yachts. Its 250-foot, can accommodate 12 guests and can travel at speeds up to 25 knots. It got a double-height dining room, an elevator and a special area for ‘the owner' + a lot more.
Check out this yacht! The interior is just incredible!!!!!

"can accommodate 12 guests"....on a 250 footer???? She must have some MAMMOTH staterooms!

Heck, I can bunk 12, in reasonable comfort, on my old 57' Connie...

Wow, and it looks like a whale - pretty cool.

Have you seen the Russian-owned yacht that looks like a military cruiser?

As in 57' CC Constellation ?!? My personal tastes are offshore performance boats BUT there is just something about the old wooden cruisers of the 50's and 60's... just pure class. I'd love to have one someday , but hear they are a full time job just on upkeep.

The Olucrus is very striking, odd but still an eye catcher. I'd prefer a Wally 118 though... that is also a very modern looking boat.

Wally (http://www.wally.com/jumpch.asp?idChannel=44&idUser=0&attivo=2 - broken link)

Sadly I'll never afford to even catch a ride in one of these magnificent yachts.
