Sunday, November 6th marks the return of the Socal Norton Owners Club "best ride by a dam site" extravaganza!
Come on out if you like motorcycles, especially classic British iron. There are usually 700 to 900 bikes of all makes and types and even a few sports cars in the mix.
The event is free and open to all; you can buy snacks, t shirts, etc. if you want but you don't have spend a dime if you don't want to - talk about inflation busting.....
Best to get there early, between 8am to 10am as about 90% of the bikes leave for a ride through the hills. Those riding British bikes receive a commerative ride pin - the rest do it for fun!
The meet is in the lower parking lot just south of the Hansen Dam ranger station on Dronefeld.
Been to this, many times. Always a hoot! Last time I was on my Triumph Tiger. The last year I went, they profiled the "Vincent."
Forgot all about it this year. Being a member of RAT, they usually keep us advised on the Hansen Dam ride.
