I just saw a new one yesterday next to me at a red light and oh my!

I could never afford one back in the early 70’s when they were new.
Now the wife and I really want a pair of these.

They just seem so easy to ride and you could let others ride them without thinking that they are too fast
They don’t t go fast.
They are so light and are street legal as well

I have a bunch of motorcycles and now I want some of thiis.

NEW trail 70?

CT?

I don't see any offered? but some similar (for 1/4th the price of restored ones. )\

off brand, but similar

A WA friend buys Trail 50's and 70's for ~$200 - $300 at garage sales, and fixes and sells.

Another friend has an electric scooter company and is importing some small Electic motorcycles (Off-road at the moment, but working on approval to license, of which WA is considerably easier than CA or OR)

I guess I misspoke.
Sorry about that.
The darn thing just looked like a new version of the old 70cc bikes and not the trail 90’s that were common.

So I looked up that I thought I saw and it’s called the Monkey.
I don’t know much about it though because I couldn’t find much on the specs.

I really wanted an SL 70.
They looked like real motorcycles.

I thought the trail 70 was the little bike with tons of Sheetmetal and them funky bars that were independent.

The Honda "Monkey" is a 125cc engine size.

Goes about 60-65mph WFO. Fun as Hell.

Floatation tires are great on sand. Fun as Hell.

Many aftermarket upgrades. Fun as Hell.

Typical Honda reliability. Fun as Hell.

Did I mention, they're "fun as Hell?"

I had one, cool little “motorcycle”. I think the top speed was 45mph or so. But it was sketchy because the brakes sucked, tiny little drums.

What I’d like to get is one of those GROMs. That looks like it would be a fun bike to goon ride the ‘burbs with.
