Very hard question to answer. I haven't torn or burned a suit using frogg toggs for the last ten years. If you crash it will tear.

Just received my Frogg Togg jacket. With pockets. This one is clearly thicker fabric with some sort of underlayment. Pockets are still in awkward place but they are there. $24. Will take it from there.
