Posting this on the chance that someone here knows of a source for the above mentioned. They seem to be scarce as hens teeth. Trying to rehabilitate my old bike from my younger days. It'll be great if I can getrdone.

Absent finding NOS or a supplier still listing these cables,

the alternative is to buy the inner/outer cable material in bulk and the little brass fittings for the ends, and cut/assemble these as needed. It's a simple process to assemble the cables and to silver solder the brass fittings on the inner wire.

Many bike shops that work on older motorcycles will have this stuff in stock and can fabricate the cables for you if you can leave them the bike or the old cables to use as a pattern.

Ron Ayers (my online dealer of choice) doesn't indicate that they are unavailable or anything:

Ronayers.com Microfiche Honda>Motorcycle>1978>XL350>HANDLE SWITCH @ LEVER @ CABLES

Honda P# 17910-385-700 and 17920-385-700

I see they're available elsewhere online too (simple google search for the part number and Honda).

Heck, there are 2 of each the A and B cables on ebay even.

Wow, you guys are too sharp. I wil look at ebay again. I searched there multiple times, but, maybe I overlooked them. Anyway I will proceed. I kind of like the idea of making my own as mentioned by Sunsprit. Thanks Brian, knowing me I will end up doing it your way. I had googled it, but, I think I did that before I actually found a part number. Ok, here I go.
