Our buyer was granted conditional approval, FHA, last week. What time frame can we expect for full aproval?

If your dealing with an FHA lender you can be approved the same day, providing all your documents have been submitted.

If it is a manual fha loan submission, usually takes 3-4 days max.

mortage_loan - what do you mean by an FHA lender (for example, is Countrywide a FHA lender?)

What does a conditional approval mean - is that done before the appraisal or after? (I heard the appraisals were taking a while these days...........)
