This is true. I would think they'd be okay on getting financing -- they both have pretty good jobs, good credit, etc. Haven't heard what type of financing they are looking for. Her husband is a vet, so they could probably go VA as well as anything else they qualify for.

But you're right, it's still a gamble at this point.
