AARP has again ranked West Virginia University in the Top 10 in the country for hiring people over 50 years of age. WVU Hospitals and Mon General Hospital are also ranked in the Top 15 in the Nation.

So they're not youth-friendly. It's a shame. They take a hell of a lot of money from young people to churn out a bunch of degrees, but they won't hire those same young people. The recent financial trouble in this nation has hit the youth especially hard and WVU, according to this article, is more concerned about hiring older, established persons.

They seem to be hiring more of every age group than most places, certainly more than any other place in our state. What this ranking indicates is they don't discriminate against people due to age.
