Oh it's probably not a tanning salon.

Close to half of French Canadians have a slightly swarthy skin tone. This is due to the French not being as light as the British or Germans, plus some indigenous admixture as well.

My wife has a similar skin tone to AOC. Maybe slightly darker. She can pass for southern European or Latin American. But is considered white here. One of my kids is only slightly lighter but still could pass for a Spaniard or Lebanese. Also considered white.

It's easy to tell on the extremes of appearance/looks who is Indigenous and who isn't, but there is a huge mushy middle where it is actually impossible to know for sure.

That said, Geneviève Guilbault might just be the prettiest politician in all of Canada.

I'm thinking Suesbal wasn't aware that most Quebecois women have healthy Mediterranean complexions and such naturally refined features. I've found that Quebecois ladies seem to have a certain attractiveness about them that generally isn't found across the rest of Canada.

You can say that again. She's a beautiful and very refined, genteel looking lady, even her mannerisms, gestures and facial expressions as she's talking are quite refined and captivating so I'd say she's likely a charismatic person. I looked up pictures of her family and she has a lovely family too. Her husband ain't no slouch either.

She is also quite tall and walks very gracefully. Almost like a runway model!

Maybe she did some modeling when she was younger.
Did she go to an English school?
