If shes against people wearing Hijabs/Turbans/Kippahs/crosses etc then yes she is a racist Xenophobe.
1. If you convert to Islam, will you change your race?
2. Are Black Christian Africans from Mozambique racist if they dislike Black Muslim Africans from Mozambique?
3.Did Janet Jackson change her race when she converted to Islam?

I feel shocked that Québec neglects and denies its Christian roots, and puts them on the same league as other religions. This is a sign that Québec has entered moral decay.
Canada is strange country, where Marihuana is allowed, but not a Christian cross. Everywhere an erosion of moral values can be observed and it is horrifying.
Instead of a Left/Right conflict, I see the debate over Bill 21 and other secularist initiatives as a dispute among the Left as to what is the truly liberal thing to do.

The CAQ party is a rightwing party that wants to ban all religious symbolism and/or attire. Whats the liberal view? if you want to wear a hijab/Kippa/Turban etc then its your freedom to do so.

Not really. The CAQ is for it and is centre-right, the PQ is for it and is centre-left. The Liberals are against it and are centre-centre, the Tories are against it, Québec solidaire is against it, and the NDP are against it.
So it doesn't seem like opposition vs. support lines up along left vs. right lines.
And over in Europe there have been bans of various kinds on religious garb that have been adopted by both right and left wing governments.

If I weren't so firmly rooted in The Mitten, this phraseology would have me packing my bags, headed for Quebec! Although, I prefer my weed without an "h."
