Can anyone tell me if rodent a common problem at local restaurants and apartments? We went to highly recommended place close to downtown and after we were done with our meal and was dressing kids to go outside, I saw something running by the wall and disappearing. Kids though it was a lizard, but few moments later I saw another one and it turned out to be a mice.... My experience was ruined after that. Please tell me how common is it? I know it's cold and snowy outside but still... I am now concerned apartment we are renting might have thus problem...
It is common in many places even high end. A few years back a high end grocery store got closed due to pest control issues .... they tried to pretend it was only to renovate.... but got exposed lol. I had have a few situations like that. The worst was a big rat that ran under my chair at this trendy spot down town that had an out door patio. I wanted to die and tried to keep my feet up while sitting the rest of the night.
I would not share the name at this time, sorry, considering its a common problem. I hate to kill a good reputation for a place that doesn't deserve it.
We have no issues with it in Florida. I guess that's why I was a little shocked.
I know other states like NY have rodent problem. I will never forget a day when I was in the metro in NY and a lady next to me advised me to move a little bit away from fat rat sitting right there... And rat was so calm and ignored humans... ***.
EEK! I read Journal de Montreal every morning online and they often feature restaurants that have rodent infestations and/or are unsanitary. Not for the squeamish, they add some fairly explicit photos.
At least I know some places to avoid, if I went out to eat, which I rarely do.
I was reading online about mice, and they are responsible for causing allergies and possible asthma attacks in us humanoids. I had no idea, but the better half heard something on TV about this and he told me.
You can google it. Geez! Who would think that such small creatures could create such havoc?
Then again, so do roaches and bedbugs. *Shudder*
Mice, roaches and bedbugs, along with some other distasteful beings, ought to be zapped off to Jupiter.
