Montreal’s Saint-Catherine Street Transforming Into 1 KM Long Terrasse

The street, between Papineau and St-Hubert, will be closed off to cars, as a kind of pedestrian summertime paradise; and, as an added bonus, most (if not all) restaurants on the street whip out their terrasses, to make for one awesome Montreal summer destination.

It's been happening for at least 3 years, since I've been around. It's really cool though. Lot's of great restaurants in the area, and always great for people watching and just taking in the atmosphere.
