Just wondering where I can buy beer in Montreal?

I noticed some small stores have the word BIERE on their signs, does this mean "beer"? Sounds like it might?

Also, if I go to buy beer in one of these stores, will they have any brands that I know?

Will the beer be cold or warm? What happens if it is warm but I want it cold?

What do I do with my empty bottles? Should I just throw them in the garbage? Or maybe the recycling bin?

Do I need an opener for the beer bottles I will buy in Montreal or are the bottles all twist-offs?

Are you trying to impersonate another poster??

It lists you as being in Gatineau.. the answers to all your questions are the same as it is in Gatineau

I really like Boreal. I think that is my favourite beer of all time so far. I've never seen it in Ontario though.

I'm guessing that you want to kick back with a cold one, while playing online poker and watching NBA games on ESPN?

Yes . Although Quebec has 13 different words for BEER..
Also, if I go to buy beer in one of these stores, will they have any brands that I know?
Quebec only has one brand of beer. It's called "lézard ennuyeux"
Will the beer be cold or warm? What happens if it is warm but I want it cold?
In the store it is warm but by the time you get back to your igloo it should be pretty cold. Do not store it outside it will freeze in 5 minutes.
What do I do with my empty bottles? Should I just throw them in the garbage? Or maybe the recycling bin?
Most people keep them to throw at annoying neighbours who get drunk and sing campfire songs outside their igloos.

You must buy a government approved opener with only french words on it. You fill out a form and it comes in the mail in 3 weeks. You cannot drink any beer till it arrives.
