What I'm trying to figure out is the time frame, and what exactly she needs to do after she gets said number. THANKS!
She should probably call the Directeur de l'état civil back. They're one of the most efficient government agencies I have ever dealt with, and producing a standardized birth certificate for someone born before 1994 is everyday stuff for them.

As for your case, getting a certificate of citizenship takes a lot more time. My son was born in the US and it took about 18 months.

I found out after speakig to the Directeur de l'etat civil, that the revenue number she needed was only if she was hell bent on applying for her BC online. So they sent me a paper application in the mail, I'll be taking it to her on Christmas break, and then once she gets it, I can apply for my cert. I'm sure it'll be a while which is why I want to get it going already! lol Thanks for the help!
