I'm wondering what the snow cover is like in Quebec City at the moment. Is there snow on the ground? How much? What are "they" saying about snow prospects this season?
Yes, there is almost always snow on the ground in early January in Quebec City. Not having snow on the ground at this time of year is not completely unheard of there, but it would be extremely rare.
From what I gather there is probably around 25-30 cm on the ground, or around a foot.
Thanks. There is usually snow here in Northern New Hampshire at this time of year, as well...but this year there is none.
The snow maps look like there may be cover in Quebec city, but accuweather is only reporting trace amounts as recorded at Quebec airport.
If anyone is actually in quebec city and wouldn't mind posting what conditions are actually like, I'd appreciate it.
