I have heard so many good things about the art scene in Montreal, I am thinking about moving there from Toronto. But I am not really sure if it would be a good idea or not scince I do not know french and I do not know anybody over there.
I am persuing art individually, that's why I am seeking for a great atmosphere to work on.
I am attaching some of my art works, so they whould show my art perspective.
I really appreciate if anyone can help me in this decision.
Art may be one of those rare fields that go beyond language.
Why not get your art displayed in a few art galleries here in Montreal then see what reactions you get.
There is a place called "Yes Montreal." They have courses and a book for artists. With the internet you may not have to entirely rely on any gallery.
I would get some art business studies under your belt and go
from there. Montreal is probably a lot cheaper to live than Toronto but you
will be limited in jobs perhaps not knowing French. Unless you become a janitor,
sell something on line, work in a call center. Your art is very interesting and very good. Learn how to market yourself.
