Hey Montrealers, is there anyone here who has a job in the graphic design field, or somewhat related to graphic design? I have a few questions for you guys as I'm in school studying it right now.

How hard was it to find a job in the field here? Or did you move outside of Montreal and worked as one there? Apparently, it's a hard to find a job in this field outside of Canada.

How good does your French need to be? I would rate my French a 7/10. Would I make it well in this field living in Montreal with "okay" french skills?

Have you guys heard of or been to Rosemount Technology Center? That is where I'm studying graphic design right now. Have you heard anything good about it?

Hello!

Your doubts are the same as mine! Except that I don't have such a good french yet.
How's the recognition for a Grephic Designer graduated in Europe?

Regards

Hey, I too am a designer in canada looking for better prospects, would be very interested in hearing from, both bilingual and anglo's on the state of Graphic design in montreal. From what I have heard, it is a a great place for design, and having visited there for the first time (twice) this year, I can see why with all the vibrant, multiculturalism and love for the arts. Considering it, but again the dilema of no french. I rate my french at 3/10.
