Our town is on the rez. The roads are potholed pretty bad here also (Hot Springs). I think I would rather put up with potholes than have taxes raised. Is it an old historic B&B or something that someone just put together and got tired of running it ? Having a group of loyal clientele and a proven track record as a profitable B&B may be worth buying but if it's less than a few years old you may be better off by starting your own B&B from scratch. Just a thought. I don't know of any restrictions because of being on the rez, is it in town or out in a serene setting with a creek and all ?

I have pictures of Ronan and the Mission Valley but don't know how to post them here. Ronan is a funny little town. I work at the hospital and they are opening a new expansion in November. I have heard a lot of complaints about the potholes and people tend to live in Polson apparently because their taxes care for the town better. Being on a "rez" means things are a little different than elsewhere. There is city and county government and tribal government as well. And there are some strange things that happen when it comes to law enforcement and who can charge who with what. And I just heard that tribal members don't have to carry car insurance while they drive on the rez. Don't know if that is true or not. There are also lots of large families who have been here for many generations. The longer I am here, just over 1 year now, the more it feels like the "good ole' boys and girls club.' I feel like I fit in Montana but not so much in this particular area.

The people, in general, are very nice but I am becoming a little jaded about it here with time.
