Late night last night. Harnessed up the team and took them out. Harnessed at 9pm, got home about 1:30am. Good thing the team could see where we was going.

We went out the county road through the country. Lions won't bother you, usually. Besides, we had Brent along. He's the local lion hunter. He contracts to all the ranches to take care of lions, bobcats and such.

From Ranchester we went county roads to Dayton and then over to Parkman and back. Couple rounds through the park. Couple rounds through the drive through at the bar. Around here they'll still mix a drink in plastic cup.

Ah the blessings of summer.
My uncle is up from Kentucky for his annual visit, and we went south of Livingston with him and some other relatives on Saturday.

Wild raspberries are ripe where we picniced!!! (at least they were at almost 7000 feet altitude ) So we picked some as most were still green, but we got enough for a nice batch and went home and my mother make home-made ice cream with eggs from my SIL's chickens and fresh cream from my sister's cow.

Home made ice cream with fresh wild raspberry topping, now THAT is eating

Trouble is, I have to go find some more raspberries now, those things are addicting!!

That is good...this summer we were over near Glacier taking photos near sunset and this fellow walked up and said to be careful of my dog cause they were tracking a mountain lion.
No problem me and mine were back in the pickup so fast that hubs cracked up. My dog is of course eagle/yote bait...

Like your version of a night out on the town.
