Well I might or might not return to the previous task but I'm gonna go to another topic: Adult Population: even though the population of Mobile only grew 2,000, the adult population grew by 8,000

I keep having to remind myself that Spanish fort's city limits look like an unfinished jigsaw puzzle and that most of the new subdivisions are outside the city limits, and in some cases, in Loxley's equally puzzling city limits or in Bay Minette's planning district.

Yep, Timbercreek is in Daphne, even though its on the Spanish Fort side of 1-10. Stonebridge is in Loxley even though you cant actually get to the rest of Loxley without going down through Spanish fort and back east via I-10 or up to Stapleton and back down. Every subdivision north of Minette Bay is outside the City limits and in Bay Minettes planning district(even has Bay Minette's Zip code even though Downtown Spanish Fort is 2 minutes away and Bay Minette is 20 ). Whisper Woods on old 31 is outside the city limits entirely, half of Cambron, Rayne Plantation and Part of the 2 Church Hills as well.

This map i'll link to below shows land plots and has Satellite overlay, but even it is out of date, Id say its from late 2019. Google maps will show you that all those subdivisions are even bigger now(and thats out of date too). Id say Stonebridge alone has added 100 homes, has finished phase one and 2 and is starting to build on phases 3 and 4.

Spanish FOrt and Daphne's combined population is 37,000, but there CCD is 55,000, those missing subdivisions are a good chunk of that.

Also looks like Spanish fort is still hoping for that giant International Paper subdivision since they havent deannex that land between HWY 225 and HWY 31, Highlands of Spanish Fort would have been bigger than Lake Forest. Looks like only 1 subdivision that was part of that master plan ever got built.

Well looks like the commuter rate from Baldwin County to Mobile County is about 23%. Funny enough, looks like Mobile County makes up about 20% of jobs in Baldwin County lol (in 2018)

How'd you determine that? Was it with the cumbersome link you posted earlier? Was it using 2018 data?

Yes found the commuter rates and then looked at BLS for the labor force

Personally not too worried about it being 23% looking at St Tammany’s parish (a metro parish for NOLA similar to Baldwin County) is only about 21%

Are you familiar with this? Principal Commuting Patterns in Alabama

Problem is, there's not a date on there that I can find.
