We are considering the Pointe Clear Marriott as a beach wedding destination. Does anyone have any feedback on this hotel?

Josh,
The Grand Hotel Marriott Resort is a beautiful property and great for weddings, but it is not on the beach. The closest white sand beaches are 1/2 hour or so away in Gulf Shores. The Grand is on Mobile Bay, in Point Clear, just south of beautiful Fairhope. It is a favorite of many for weddings as the grounds and amenities are just fabulous. Lakewood Golf course is one of the best in the area, the pool is great and it has an award winning spa.
Check Travel Advisor site for other comments and this might give you a better idea. I hope this helps.

Martaman,
I am NOT a realtor...my husband is,(and he is not on this board) and the comments I gave to Josh had nothing to do with real estate. He was asking about perhaps having a wedding at The Grand. This has NOTHING to do with real estate and you obviously have a problem with honest advice and opinions.

I love living in Fairhope and Baldwin county, and make no secret of it. When people inquire on where to live, ect, I always give my honest opinion, from personal experience. I have lived in many places, traveled all over the world, and I feel I have a bit more savvy than the average Joe. I did a lot of research before moving to this area. But the question was if the Grand was nice for a wedding....that was all!!!
